Curtain Call Act 18 with New Beginnings

I combined the challenge of New Beginnings at Sweet Stampin with the colour challenge at Curtain Call Act 18. As soon as I read the words New Beginnings it immediately made me think of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. The strange kraft coloured thing is supposed to be a crysalis!!! The words are from Verve and read "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world" and on the inside "The Master calls a butterfly. Richard Back" I watercoloured the embossed images on the bottom half of the card. Not that you can see that it is embossed from the photo!!LOL

Mojo Monday Challenge 125

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday Challenge 125. I turned the whole sketch upside down and made the black circle shaped piece into a pocket! I didn't have a shaped punch so I made a tab and punched out two small half circles from the end to create a similar look.I have attached a cheque to the tab, so when you pull on the tab it reveals itself. (I had to mention inside the card to do this though otherwise my husband would never have found it!)

And last but not least the more mature man! (If there is such a thing!!)

I love this pheasant stamp from SU "Autumn days" and have combined it with SU "Lovely as a Tree". As you can see I have been busy today - I actually made 8 of these pheasant ones for my mum to add to her card organiser which I made her at Xmas. You may also have guessed by my late postings that I suffer from insomnia!!

I love my new SU Taken with Teal inkpad and thought it was a lush colour to use on a male card!

These small cards were made using SU " Carte Postale" stamp set which is also one of my favourites! Too many favourites, too many stamps and not enough time!!

I haven't done an ingredient list today, but if anyone wants to know what products I have used; don't hesitate to ask in the comments or by emailing me!

Younger Boys!

These cards I have made for friends of my 8 year old son. He thinks the Dandelion dog is really cute and he loves the Pirate Ship. I just need to find a parrot stamp to go with it!!

Cards for those difficult Boys (and Men!)

I've had lots of male birthdays recently and have had to come up with some designs that were not too flowery!! The following three were what I came up with for my 17 year old son!

Sweet Always Selection

I have several retired sets of Stampin Up designer paper packs and wanted to use them up -to make room for the new ones!! You know where I'm coming from!!! I started with this Sweet Always set which uses Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose colours. Several of the papers are dotty, so I used circle punches and the Circle Circus set which complimented them well. The designs on the papers are quite simple so I echoed that with my images, the Flight of the Butterfly worked very well.
