This was the sketch at Sweet Stampin this week, and below are my 3 different takes on it. One is for a friend's 40th Birthday next weekend and she loves pink, so that's why it's mostly pink! I gave a class on watercolouring this week and these were some of the images I did, although I did start with a basic balloon first!! Story Time - Act 31

These are the gorgeous colours for the challenge at Curtain Call this week and the sketches below are for Lili of the Valley's fortnightly challenge, which I somehow seem to have missed the deadline. However, since the next sketch will also suit my card if you turned the sketch upside down - I'll enter it anyway!! LOL!! Since I don't have a huge oval punch or a sizzix or big shot and at the moment my craftrobo won't cut Stampin Up cardstock; I hand cut the oval around the image and then scrunched a strip of Pretty in Pink cardstock, (after punching the edge with the luscious Martha Stewart doily punch) to look like lace around the back of the oval image!

Stamps: Lili of the Valley Girls - Story Time

DSP: Laura Ashley
Misc:Laura Ashley brads, gorgeous wired navy and lilac handmade ribbon rose

Hello, I'm back!! Been busy, went to a friend's wedding last weekend and have spent this week catching up on sleep and housework!! I have done a few cards since but gave them away before I photographed them!! This card is for three challenges - the colour combo at Color Throwdown, the sketch at Mojo Monday and the theme of "Butterflies and Blossoms" at Sir Stampalot (though I'd do this one early this month, so I didn't miss the deadline LOL)

Fantasy Fairies

The first challenge at Sir Stampalot was Fantasy and since I collect fairies, I just had to use them for my theme! However, what I envisaged in my head didn't quite look the same when I made it!! Never mind maybe I'll have another go one day. Love these tiny Magnolia Tilda fairies from the Fairytale collection. I realise I have missed the deadline for Sir Stampalot but I really wanted to take on the challenge as I buy alot of goodies from Sir Stampalot. If you click on the pic you can see it in far better detail although I realise I may have over embellished!! LOL
