Some quick and easy Autumnal Harvesty cards!!

Knock at the Door!!

As promised here is the Xmas wreath adorned with many embellishments. This was oh so much fun! Sam enjoyed it too and is currently decorating another one! Made a door and used Stampin' Up Hodgepodge Hardware for the letterbox and door knob!

Crafting Fun

I had a great fun crafting day today with my good friend Tina. She missed my party and so I showed her the card we made and we made some more. We then played with my new Woodware Clear Magic Gingerbread Man and Bubble Wreath sets, at last. Here is a card that I made with the Gingerbread Man set images with my 9 year old son, Sam for his best friend's birthday tomorrow. I adore these two sets and they were such fun to do. I coloured the Gingerbread Man and House in with Promarkers and used Stampin' Up Riding Hood Red cardstock and retired "Candy Lane" papers (thought that was appropriate!!) and the very very gorgeous Real Red 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I am very pleased with the result and will definitely be making more cards with this set, Xmas ones too!! I will post the wreaths when I have made them into cards!! LOL!! Not enough hours in the day...

Wedding Sweet, Always Elegant and Style Beautiful

I held my first Stampin' Up party a week ago and these are the designs I showcased using the new Stampin' Up "Wedding Sweet" and "Style Beautiful" stamp sets and the colours from the Elegant Soiree papers - Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake (I didn't have the Elegant Soiree papers then! so these are a retired set "Parisian Breeze" which used the same colours):




And these are two that I demonstrated, the first used the new Stampin' Up stamp set "Style Beautiful" with the new Stampin' Up papers "Lap of Luxury" in Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink and embellished with the gorgeous new Stampin' Up Basic Rhinestone Jewels and Concord Crush 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon and the second one combined "Wedding Sweet" with the "Always Elegant" stamp set in Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake and a little of the new Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, also used the new Modern Label punch which I love. The latter was the make and take. They went down very well!


I also "wowed" them with a handmade teapot for the hostess (which I forgot to photograph! Silly me...I'll have to borrow it back to take a photo!!) and showed them how to make this Xmas snowflake decoration which I saw on YouTube. It really shows off double-sided papers. These were from Christmas Jingle. And here it is!!

Good News or Bad News!!

I had a very frantic card-making weekend since I practically sold all my cards on ebay and my stocks were reduced to 12. So I had to make as many as I could. It was really great that I sold so many, but as most of them sold in the last few hours I then had my work cut out to replenish my stocks... Here are a few that I made...

September is Birthday Month!!

September is a busy month for me on the celebratory side - It was my 10th Wedding Anniversary on the 22nd...these are the gorgeous flowers my wonderful hubby bought me and this is the card I made him..



My eldest daughter was 19 on 24th, my twin nephews were 4 on 25th, my sister-in-law's birthday is today and my other nephew's birthday is tomorrow. My youngest son Sam went to a 10th Birthday party yesterday and has another one coming up on Saturday....phew!! Unfortunately I didn't have time to photograph them all before I gave them!!


This pirate stamp is by Magnolia and the ship is by Whipper Snapper. The blue card and ink is one of the new colours Marina Mist out in the new SU catty on Friday, the yellow is too -Daffodil Delight

I was also commissioned to make a Never Ending card and these this month too!!

Cottage Wall Girls!!

I know I said I did 10 but the other three were Christening cards very similar to those posted back in August, so I didn't want to bore you again with those! When I was using these gorgeous Cottage Wall papers I started with one sketch and the ideas flowed from there, incidentally not one of these or the wedding ones match the sketch!!!! LOL I also had a charm moment and added silver charms to most of the cards. Do you ever have moments like that? When you make a batch of cards you favour using a certain embellishment!! For example on the last batch of boy cards I put a knotted ribbon across the corner of most of the images on the cards!!


Lili of the Valley Baby card-Thinking out of the box - away from pink!! and brand new Magnolia Mermaid stamp where I've hidden her behind that lovely thread again. Quite a different look!
