Good News or Bad News!!

I had a very frantic card-making weekend since I practically sold all my cards on ebay and my stocks were reduced to 12. So I had to make as many as I could. It was really great that I sold so many, but as most of them sold in the last few hours I then had my work cut out to replenish my stocks... Here are a few that I made...

September is Birthday Month!!

September is a busy month for me on the celebratory side - It was my 10th Wedding Anniversary on the 22nd...these are the gorgeous flowers my wonderful hubby bought me and this is the card I made him..



My eldest daughter was 19 on 24th, my twin nephews were 4 on 25th, my sister-in-law's birthday is today and my other nephew's birthday is tomorrow. My youngest son Sam went to a 10th Birthday party yesterday and has another one coming up on Saturday....phew!! Unfortunately I didn't have time to photograph them all before I gave them!!


This pirate stamp is by Magnolia and the ship is by Whipper Snapper. The blue card and ink is one of the new colours Marina Mist out in the new SU catty on Friday, the yellow is too -Daffodil Delight

I was also commissioned to make a Never Ending card and these this month too!!

Cottage Wall Girls!!

I know I said I did 10 but the other three were Christening cards very similar to those posted back in August, so I didn't want to bore you again with those! When I was using these gorgeous Cottage Wall papers I started with one sketch and the ideas flowed from there, incidentally not one of these or the wedding ones match the sketch!!!! LOL I also had a charm moment and added silver charms to most of the cards. Do you ever have moments like that? When you make a batch of cards you favour using a certain embellishment!! For example on the last batch of boy cards I put a knotted ribbon across the corner of most of the images on the cards!!


Lili of the Valley Baby card-Thinking out of the box - away from pink!! and brand new Magnolia Mermaid stamp where I've hidden her behind that lovely thread again. Quite a different look!

Cottage Wall Wedding Cards

Oh dear this daily blogging isn't going very well is it? That's CFS/ME for you!! LOL Absolutely washed out last week, after a weekend away with friends in sunny Dawlish and didn't make a single card. Last weekend I also went out to relatives for a family get together, but so far the exhaustion hasn't got me yet!! And so on Monday and Tuesday I made 10 cards!! I have used the Stampin' Up Cottage Wall DSP for my inspiration. These are the wedding ones, stamps by Lili of the Valley and Magnolia.

I did these humming birds using the Stampin Up Hostess Level 3 Set; I then copied the design but used the crops from the Autumn Days set and the beautiful butterfly " All A Flutter"

Bronze Level 2

I had a nice surprise in the post yesterday... I've been promoted to a Bronze Level 2 Demonstrator with Stampin' Up! Thank you very much Stampin' Up!!!!

Now I know my promise of blogging every day didn't last very long so after this I'll post a few cards I've been making in the week.
